Thomas Haughey enters his first season as part of the Castleton Football coaching staff in 2020.Â
Haughey arrives to the program as a defensive line coach after a successful playing career at Susquehanna University. The Philadelphia native was a fixture on the River Hawks' offensive line as a junior and senior. He earned an all-conference honorable mention following an 8-3 senior campaign, culminating in a bowl win over Albright. Haughey's offensive line helped the squad average more than 400 yards per game on offense. It was Susquehanna's best season since 2009.Â
Haughey is currently working to earn a master's degree in Athletic Leadership from Castleton.Â
