Assistant Coach / Defensive Line

Jay Morgan enters his first season as an assistant coach with the Castleton football team, working primarily with the inside linebackers.

Morgan was a four-year starter and a team captain for Castleton, playing in 41 straight games at the linebacker position. He finished his playing career ranked second all-time in sacks (11.0), plus he is currently third in Castleton history in tackles for a loss (27.0) and fourth all-time in total tackles (259).

After graduation in 2016, Morgan opened a business and has worked full time as the owner of Morgan Home Inspection, LLC., as well as coaching football for a local youth program and select camps throughout New England. Originally from Georgia, Vt., he graduated from Colchester High School.
