Lauren McNally

Lauren McNally joined the Castleton Field Hockey coaching staff as a graduate assistant in August 2020 following a five-year playing career at Penn State. 

As a Nittany Lion, McNally contributed to three winning seasons. Most notably, Penn State's 2016 squad posted a record of 17-3 and won the Big Ten Championship. She appeared in 37 games, including 18 starts throughout her time in Happy Valley. Additionally, McNally is a four-time Big Ten All-Academic Team honoree as well as 2019 Division I National Academic Squad. 

She also gained some coaching experience during her time in State College, working with the local Blue Lions Field Hockey Club. 

Prior to Penn State, McNally was a high school standout in her hometown of Ocean City, N.J. She was a member of the U17 National Team in 2013 and received NFHCA First-Team All-American honors in 2014. 

McNally is currently pursuing a master's degree in athletic leadership from Castleton.
