Alexis Rider is in her first season as the Castleton field hockey program's graduate assistant coach.
A four-year starter on the pitch at New Haven, the attacking midfielder from Delran, N.J. was named to the NFHCA Division II National Academic Squad for three years in a row along with a NE10 Academic Honor Roll selection in 2019. Rider pocketed seven goals as a freshman to earn a spot on the 2018 Northeast-10 All-Rookie Team. She closed out her playing career in 2021 with a NE10 All-Conference Second Team nomination. Rider graduated as the Chargers' all-time leader in points (31) and goals (14).
Rider earned a B.S. in Sport Management at the University of New Haven in May 2022.
