MIDDLEBURY, Vt.-  The Vermont State University, Castleton men's golf team finished the 2026 Duke Nelson Invitational Sunday at Ralph Myhre Golf Course.  

Sam Knight (Madison, Wisc.) once again led the team, finishing the round at six over par, recording a pair of birdies and improved by four strokes from yesterday's round. Filip Ransdorf (Roudnice nad Labem, Czech Republic) also improved by four strokes, finishing the round 10 over par. 

Mason MacDougall (Cambridge, N.Y.) improved by three strokes, shooting 14 over par for the round. 

Will Woodruff (Bloomingdale, N.Y.) and Cam Reid (Kimberley, BC) each finished 15 over par, improving by two and three strokes, respectively. Reid also had another birdie. 

Up next, the Spartans will compete in the MCLA Invitational at the Waubeeka Golf Links on Tuesday, with a tee time set for 10 am.
