PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Cam Reid of the Vermont State University Castleton men's ice hockey team earned Little East All-Conference Second Team honors following a strong junior campaign.

Reid, who served as a team captain this season, anchored the Spartan defense while also contributing significantly on the offensive end. He finished third on the team in scoring and led all defensemen with 19 points, recording 12 assists and seven goals.

A key piece of the special team's unit, Reid tied for second on the team with four man-up goals. The Kimberley, British Columbia native also posted a plus-six rating and added 21 blocked shots during the season.

Reid delivered one of his best performances on February 7, recording a hat trick in an 8-1 victory over the University of Southern Maine.

With one collegiate season remaining, Reid currently ranks sixth in program history in defenseman scoring with 48 career points. His 19 points this season also tie for the fifth-highest single-season total by a defenseman in program history.
