UTICA, N.Y. – The Vermont State University Castleton men's and women's indoor track & field teams competed at the Blue and Orange Invitational hosted by Utica University on Saturday.

How it Went
- Britain Goodemote was the highest finishing Spartan as he placed sixth in the triple jump with a leap of 13.10m.
- Six Spartans took part in the women's shot put, led by Isabell Lanfear who placed 12 with a toss of 11.23m. Kalynn Stevenson (11.15m) was 13th, followed by Sienna Newth (10.40m) in 18, Karli Martin (10.20m) in 22, Katelyn Yerdon (9.40m) in 32 and Azaraya May (9.01m) in 38.
- Stevenson led the ladies in the weight throw with a mark of 13.97m. Newth (12.98m) finished in 19, while Martin (12.93m) was 22 and Lanfear (12.56m) was 25.

The Spartans will travel to New Hampshire on February 21 for the Little East Conference Championships, hosted by Plymouth State University.
