CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Vermont State University Castleton men's and women's indoor track & field teams competed at the Gordon Kelly Invitational, hosted by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology on Saturday.

Spartan Women
- Isabell Lanfear earned herself a podium finish in shotput with a toss of 12.31m for second place. Kalynn Stevenson finished fourth with her toss of 11.76m.
- Stevenson led the Spartans in the weight throw with her eighth-place finish out of 47 athletes (13.87m).
- Karli Martin was not far off with her toss of 13.29m for 12th place.
Spartan Men
- Brody Hopkins collected a third-place finish in the 200-meter dash with a mark of 25.11.
- Britian Goodemote finished just off the podium in the long jump with his leap of 13.16m for fourth.

The Spartans will travel to the University of Southern Maine on Saturday, January 31, to take part in the Husky Invitational.
