How It Happened
Castleton took command early, fueled by setter Alondra Rojas, who tallied 30 assists and delivered an impressive run of 10 consecutive service points. The Bobcats struggled to keep pace, committing seven hitting errors in the opening set while managing only three kills. The Spartans pulled away to take the set, 25-10.

Jocelyn Ray paced Castleton's offense with 11 kills, while Grace Mack added six kills and five digs. Madison Sheehan contributed five kills, one block and six service aces. Defensively, Nicoletta Vaughn had a match high 18 digs along with an assist.

The Bobcats battled in the second set but could not disrupt Castleton's momentum. They committed just two errors but were limited to only two kills, falling again by a score of 25-10.

The Bobcats gained some momentum in the final set thanks to efforts by Maddi Rhodes and Kennedy Marchbanks. Rhodes anchored the back row with several digs, finishing the night with a team-high 16 digs and adding four kills. Marchbanks contributed a kill and an ace in the third set, providing a spark. However, Castleton's consistent pressure held firm, and the Spartans closed out the set 25-16 to complete the sweep.
