MARSHFIELD, Mass. –
Moa Carlsson and
Victoria Bakopanos have been selected to the New England Hockey Conference's All-Conference Teams as chosen by the league's ten head coaches.
Carlsson was named First Team All-NEHC after a sensational junior season. The junior forward tallied a new career-high 20 points on 11 goals and 9 assists. Carlsson scored four goals in Castleton's series against Salem St. and registered a point in four straight games this season. Her 20 overall points ranks tied for 6th in the league.
The Stockholm, Sweden native became Castleton's program leader in shorthanded goals when she scored the fifth shorthanded goal of her career. Carlsson adds her second All-Conference team honors to her list of accolades after being named to the second team a season ago.
Bakopanos earned her first All-Conference honors after being selected to the conference Third Team squad. The Kirkland, Quebec native made 625 saves, recorded a .920 save percentage, collected nine wins, and one shutout in 21 appearances this season. Bakopanos had three games of 50+ saves, including a career-best 63 saves against Williams College, which tied her for fifth most saves in a single game in program history.
