CASTLETON, Vt.  – As the College Sports Communicators (CSC) award season nears a close, Vermont State University Castleton athletics is proud to announce that a total of 43 student-athletes were named to CSC's Academic All-District teams over the course of the academic year.
 
To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must possess a 3.50 or higher cumulative GPA, be at least a sophomore in the classroom, and have competed in a minimum number of competitions during their respective 2023-24 seasons. To advance to the Academic All-America ballot, student-athletes must have achieved athletic significance via All-Conference, All-America, or other significant recognition.
 
Established in 1952 and selected by CSC, Academic All-America is the longest running and premier award for athletic and academic success across championship college sports at all NCAA levels, the NAIA, two-year colleges and Canadian institutions.
 
The final Academic All-America teams will be announced on Tuesday, July 16 and Wednesday, July 17. Below is a complete listing of the 2023-24 Academic All-District honorees for VTSU Castleton.
