KEENE, N.H. – The Vermont State University men's golf team placed fourth at the Little East Conference Men's Golf Championship
Wednesday morning, with a two-day score of 646 (322-324) at Keene Country Club.
Junior
Brady Hathorn shot the third lowest score on Day 2 with a 73, moving him up six spots for a total score of 150 to place him fifth overall and earn All-LEC recognition.
Andrew Stefura finished 19th shooting an 84 to bring his Championship total up to 163, while
Zach Papapetros finished just behind Stefura at 20th with a 164 after logging an 81 on Day 2.
Dominic Rodrigue rounded out the scoring for the Spartans, finishing 27th with a total score of 177.
Southern Maine captured the team title for the first time in program history with a two-day score of 597 (282-315). Eastern Connecticut State placed second with a score of 600 (297-303) and Western Connecticut took third with a score of 630 to round out the top three. East Conn's Ethan McDaniel took home the individual title after finishing three-strokes under par with a total score 139 (71-68).
