The Wolves ran out to a five-point lead in the first two minutes before Castleton got on the board with a free throw. After a jumper by WestConn found the bottom of the bucket, Castleton scored the final four points of the frame, including a late three by Magro, to lead 16-15 after 10 minutes.
The second quarter was all Castleton, with the Spartans opening the frame on a 21-1 run to go ahead 37-16. It took the Wolves nearly eight minutes to net a field goal in the quarter. Magro continued to pour in baskets, finishing the first half with 19 points as Castleton led 38-22 at the break.
The two sides battled more evenly in the third quarter, but Bailey's 10 points in the frame and a buzzer-beating three by Magro extended the Spartans' lead to 51-34 going to the final 10 minutes.
Bailey and Magro continued to dominate the game, combining for all 11 of Castleton's fourth-quarter points as the Spartans put a cap on the 62-47 victory.
