PLYMOUTH, N.H. -- The Castleton University women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 Little East Conference (LEC) decision to Plymouth State Saturday afternoon at the Bank of New Hampshire Field House.
 
The Spartans fell behind early, dropping every doubles match to start the afternoon. 
Regina Marchese and 
Aliza Bogner dropped an 8-2 decision to Maggie McCarthy and Kira Winter at first doubles while both the second and third doubles teams suffered 8-0 losses.
 
As the singles play began, Marchese and Bogner were the most successful, each earning three games combined. After dropping the first set, Marchese earned two games in the second set in a 6-0, 6-2 defeat at first singles. Bogner dropped a 6-0, 6-1 decision to Winter at second singles. 
 
Jackson and 
Kaitlin Bardellini both made their debuts today as Camille fell 6-0, 6-0 at fourth singles while Bardellini earned one game in a 6-0, 6-1 defeat to Julie Miller at fifth singles.
 
Castleton returns to action Saturday, April 17, as it takes on Western Connecticut State at the Castleton Tennis Courts with a scheduled start at 1 p.m.
