RICHMOND, Vt. – The Castleton University men's alpine ski team took to the slopes of Cochran's Ski Area Sunday for a USSA Slalom race in Richmond.

Three Spartans competed on the day, as
Christian Meyer,
Jackson Frazier and
Christopher Kerven were in action. Meyer had the top finish for Castleton with a time of 1:37.43 on runs of 46.46 and 50.97. Frazier was close behind at 1:40.76 on runs of 48.75 and 52.01. Kerven logged a DNF in the day's opening run.

Castleton is back in action Monday at Stratton Mountain for two FIS Slalom races starting at 9:30 a.m.
