CASTLETON, Vt. - Castleton dropped a 5-0 decision to Plattsburgh St. on Tuesday in a match that was shortened due to rain.

The Spartan duo of Meghan Susslin and Shannon Haggerty fell 8-3 at No. 1 doubles while the team of Olga McIntyre and Sara Novenstern fell 8-2 at No. 2 doubles. The No. 3 doubles team of Taylor Reynolds and Monika Plante lost 8-1.

In singles losses losses at No. 5 and No. 6 provided a 5-0 margin before rain ended the match. Susslin did lead at first singles when the match was called.

Castleton returns to action on Thursday when the team hosts Green Mountain at 6 pm.
