Johnson, Vt. - Despite being shorthanded and forced to forfeit two points to the Badgers, the Castleton women's tennis team grabbed another North East Atlantic Conference victory, beating Johnson St. 6-3.

The Spartans were forced to forfeit sixth singles, but ended up earning a win in every singles match they played. Olga McIntyre earned her second conference victory of the year at first singles, with an 8-5 pro-set victory.

Castleton improves to 5-6, 3-1 in the NEAC and will face Thomas College on Sunday, Sept. 30 at Grand Slam Tennis in Rutland, Vt.
