CASTLETON, Vt. - Mark Comstock (Rutland, Vt./Rutland) has been named the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week. Comstock was named the North Atlantic Conference Tournament Most Valuable Player, averaging 19 points and 7.3 rebounds in three games as Castleton earned its first-ever NAC Title.
The junior forward, and conference Player of the Year, shot 59.4% (19-32) from the field and added seven steals and four blocks to his stat line for the week. In Saturday's final Comstock dumped in 20 points, going 6-for-8 from the field, 2-for-3 from three-point land and 6-for-8 from the charity stripe to secure the win.
