CASTLETON, Vt. - Mark Comstock (Rutland, Vt./Rutland) has been named the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week. Comstock propelled the Spartans to a 3-0 week in NAC play, averaging 19.7 points and 8.3 rebounds in wins over Lyndon, New England College and Colby-Sawyer.

Comstock scored 11 points in just 12 minutes in Tuesday's blowout of Lyndon, and pumped in 20 points on 8-of-10 shooting in 17 minutes at New England College. The junior forward saved his best performance for Saturday's pivotal match-up with Colby-Sawyer, scoring a career-high 28 points on 8-for-12 shooting from the field.

Comstock shot 67.7% (21-31) from the field and 76.2% (16-21) from the charity stripe for the week.
