JOHNSON, Vt. - Castleton State College (5-9, 3-2 NAC) used a strong team service effort to cruise past Lyndon State College 3-0 (25-8, 25-14, 25-3) in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) women's volleyball play on Saturday in a quad-match at Johnson State College's Carter Gym.

Sarah Wheeler (Kinderhook, N.Y.) smacked 11 service aces, Ashley Kepaa (North Attleboro, Mass.) added eight, and Chelsea Schlosser (Endicott, N.Y.) chipped in with six to help pace the Spartans.  Kepaa also recorded a match-high 13 kills while Schlosser and Jennifer Hill (Winterport, Maine) dealt out seven assists each.

Lyndon (3-10, 0-2 NAC) received two kills and four digs from Christine Bailey (Lyndonville, Vt.) with teammate Ally Ciaramitaro (Melrose, Mass.) recording a team-best five digs.
