Castleton salvages weekend split with 70-54 win at Thomas

Waterville, ME -Castleton bounced back after a tough road loss to Farmington on Friday night, with an afternoon victory at Thomas 70-54. The Terriers had no answer for Jeremy Jorgensen who posted 17 points and 16 rebounds to lead Castleton.

Castleton led 35-30 at halftime, and cruised to the 16 point win. Leading the Terrier offense was Adam Rich with 15 points off the bench, while Darrell Alexander chipped in with 11. Joey Farley scored a game-high 24 points, including 6-9 from 3-point range. Josh Howe added 12 points, while Rich Reilly rounded out the Spartans in double-figures with 11.

Castleton improves to 6-8 (3-4 NAC) and will return to the road on Tuesday when they travel to Skidmore for a 7:00 tip-off. Thomas falls to 4-12 (2-4 NAC).
