Castleton loses on the road, 68-53 to Maine-Farmington

Farmington, ME -Castleton couldn't recover after a sluggish first-half and fell on the road to Maine-Farmington 68-53. The Beavers received 20 points and 18 rebounds from Sean Fry and never trailed against the visiting Spartans.

Farmington led 28-19 at the break and out-scored Castleton 40-34 in the final period to earn the win. Josh Howe scored a team-high 19 points, including 5-7 from 3-point range off the bench for Castleton. Joining Howe in double-figures for the Spartans was Jeremey Jorgensen with 15 points and seven rebounds. Josh Tanguay also posted a double-double for the Beavers with 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Castleton falls to 5-8 (2-4 NAC) with the loss and is back in action tomorrow afternoon at Thomas. With the win Farmington improves to 6-8 (3-1 NAC) and plays host to Johnson State tomorrow afternoon.
