Box Score Castleton, VT-The Castleton State College men's basketball team won for the second straight game as Jeremy Jorgensen poured in a game-high 21 points and hauled in 19 rebounds, including nine on the offensive end. The Badgers had no answer for the inside presence of Jorgensen, and when they tried to double the Spartans made them pay to the tune of 12 three-pointers on 23 attempts.
Johnson State's Tim Santarcangelo, Charlie Viana and Mike Bosh each pumped in 14 points, but it was not enough to combat Jorgensen and the Spartan's balanced attack. Joey Farley canned four triples and scored 16 points. Rich Reilly, content to distribute the ball for most of the game finished with 12 points and six assists, while Kevin Cayea rounded out the Spartans in double figures with 10.
With the win Castleton improves to 5-7 and 2-3 in conference play. The Badgers fall to 3-10 and are still searching for a NAC win at 0-5. Both teams will travel to Maine this weekend, Castleton to Maine-Farmington on Friday and Johnson State to Thomas. Both games tip-off at 7:30.
