Wes Landon

Wes Landon was named the head strength and conditioning coach prior to the 2019-20 campaign.

Landon spent the spring 2019 semester as a graduate assistant with the Spartans' athletic programs following a two-year stint at Norwich University. He was in charge of writing and conducting programs for his assigned athletic teams, modifying programs as needed to benefit student-athletes and their respective abilities.

Prior to Norwich, Landon served as a strength coach at Johnny Longo's Strength Academy in Sheldon, Conn., where he worked with high school, collegiate and professional athletes to best suit their needs. He worked directly with multiple hockey programs and assessed individual abilities and skill levels to determine training needs.

Landon also served as a personal trainer and strength coach for three years at Anatomic Fitness in Bedford, N.H., working with local athletes and other clientele to build overall strength and fitness. He also incorporated video to help athletes adapt and learn how to perfect movements.

Landon graduated from Keene State College in 2012 with a B.S. in Health Science
