Jade Julius joins the Vermont State University Castleton women’s ice hockey team as an assistant coach for the 2024-25 season. Previously, she served as an assistant coach with the Rivier University Raiders in Nashua, NH. Before her coaching term at Rivier, Julius played NCAA Division III hockey at Lebanon Valley College (LVC) in Pennsylvania for four years. She became part of LVC in its third year, contributing significantly to the program's development.
Over her career, Julius played in 88 games, recording 16 points (7 goals, 9 assists). During her final two seasons at LVC, Julius helped lead the Dutchmen to the conference playoffs, and in the 2022-23 season, the team achieved a program-best twelve wins. She finished her career as the sixth-most experienced player in LVC history and was a key player on the penalty-kill unit, leading her team in blocked shots with a total of 62. Julius graduated from Lebanon Valley College in 2023 with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology.
