Ethan McDonough

Ethan McDonough begins his first season as a Graduate Assistant Coach for the Spartans during the 2025–2026 season, marking the start of his collegiate coaching career.

A 2020 graduate of Southington High School in Connecticut, McDonough went on to play five years of collegiate baseball at Ithaca College. During his time with the Bombers, he was part of three conference championship teams and contributed to two regional championship titles. A consistent offensive presence, McDonough finished his career with a .312 batting average and tallied nine home runs. He capped off his playing career by earning all-conference honors in 2025.

McDonough graduated from Ithaca College with a degree in Sports Media and brings both a strong baseball pedigree and a passion for player development to the Spartans' coaching staff.

He will be pursuing his master's degree in Athletic Leadership during his time at Castleton.
