Ali Blackmer joined the athletic communications staff in August 2025. She earned a Bachelor of Science in sport management from Castleton and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in athletic leadership.
As an undergraduate, she interned with the athletic director at Fair Haven Union Middle and High School, where she served as a site supervisor and primary contact for soccer, field hockey, basketball, cheerleading, bowling, and football at the middle school, JV, and varsity levels.
She also worked as an athletic communications intern at Skidmore College, where she supported baseball, basketball, hockey, softball, and lacrosse. Her responsibilities included entering statistics at home games, tracking participation, running live broadcasts, writing game recaps, and creating graphics.
