WATERVILLE, MAINE – Megan Nadler of the Castleton University women's tennis team earned North Atlantic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 10.
Nadler continued her impressive start to the season, winning all three of her singles matches to improve to 5-0 in 2017. She dropped just four games – of 40 games played – while helping lead Castleton to a 2-1 week.
The Rutland, Vt. native cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 win over her opponent from Green Mountain College. Later in the week, Nadler earned a 6-2, 6-0 win, before she wrapped up with a double bagel (6-0, 6-0) victory against Lyndon State.
In doubles action, Nadler moved to 4-1 on the year. In her career, the sophomore is now 12-7 in solo action, while claiming a 14-5 tally in doubles.
Women's tennis returns to action for another home contest at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, following a venue change for their match against Green Mountain College.
