CASTLETON, Vt. – The Vermont State University Castleton Athletics Department has announced the details for its 19^th Annual Castleton Classic golf tournament scheduled for Friday, August 8, 2025, at the Rutland Country Club. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the department.

Participants can register as a foursome or as a single to be paired up on the day of. All Participants will have their greens fees covered, have access to a complimentary golf cart, gifts, on-course lunch, a cocktail hour with Hors D'oeuvres and prizes for low gross and net winners. There will also be a longest drive contest and prizes for hole-in-ones. It costs $600 to register as a foursome, $150 for a single.

There are also sponsorship opportunities available at three different levels: Major with a cost of $8,000 and the most perks, Premier for $3,500 with fewer perks but still a great value and the Spartan level with a cost of $750 that includes hole sponsorship and recognition on castletonsports.com.
