RANDOLPH, Vt. – The Vermont State University Castleton women's cross country team placed third at the Knights Maple Syrup Challenge.
VTSU Castleton scored 80 points to place third at the Maple Syrup Challenge.
Bethany Davis finished as the Spartans top finisher, taking 11th with a time of 21:58.
Teammates
Lilley Anderson and
Rosie Phelan took 14th and 15th at the meet. Anderson would go on to run a 24:19 with Phelan not far behind in 24:44.
Renae Gemari placed 18th with a time of 25:07.
Olivia Howard crossed the line at 26:42 to take 22nd and
Molly Isaacs took 31st with a time of 37:26.
VTSU Castleton returns to action Saturday, September 11 at 10:00 a.m. for the Aldrich Invitational hosted by Middlebury.
