CASTLETON, Vt. – Vermont State University Castleton women's cross country host Castleton Invitational.
 
VTSU Castleton hosted the 2024 Castleton Invitational on Saturday. Highlighting the day was junior Bethany Davis who finished as Castleton's top finisher with a sixth place finish in 23:29. Senior Rosie Phelan provided a strong finish to claim 13th with a time of 26:15.
 
Debuting for Castleton was sophomore Renae Gemari who took 14th with a time of 26:22 and sophomore Oliva Howard who crossed the line in 28:17 to take 17th overall.
 
SUNY Cobleskill captured the team title with help from Lilianna Peters who took first at the meet with a time of 20:27.
 
VTSU Castleton returns to action Saturday, September 7 at 11:00 a.m. for the Maple Syrup Challenge at VTSU Randolph.
