NEW LONDON, N.H. -- The Castleton men's tennis team engaged in a non-conference bout with Colby-Sawyer on Sunday, taking a 9-0 loss to the Chargers at Kelsey Courts.
In doubles play, the Spartans (4-7) suffered 8-0 and 8-1 setbacks at the second and third flights.

Phil Kluge scrapped with Colby-Sawyer's (9-10) Zsombor Homonnay/Aidan Jensen to an 8-3 loss at the top slot.
Andy Phelan took three games away from Cohl Schusler at flight No. 6 in a 6-2, 6-1 match. Kluge claimed a pair of games in his second-spot draw against Aidan Jensen as
Stanley Andersen prevented a shutout with a 6-1, 6-0 flight-five contest.
The Chargers registered 12-0 shutouts at the first, third, and fourth flights to seal their fifth consecutive victory.
Castleton turns its attention toward the next match on Wednesday, April 19 at in-state foe NVU-Johnson. First serve against the Badgers is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
