CASTLETON, Vt. – The Castleton University seniors took the spotlight on Senior Day, as the five players combined for 12 goals and eight assists to lead the Spartans over Husson University, 17-6, Saturday afternoon in a North Atlantic Conference women's lacrosse match at Spartan Stadium.

With the clock running for the vast majority of the second half, Castleton and Husson traded goals, with Kirsten Kruk and Nicolle Trivino each earning their first collegiate goal. The Spartan veterans finished the day off with the team's final two goals, as Danyow set up Pelkey for her second goal of the game, and then Johnson took a pass from Pelkey and found the net as the clock ran down.

Pelkey earned two goals and two assists, Wilkin tied her career high for assists with three to go along with her goal, and Hosner caused two Husson turnovers to go along with her goal.
