Iradukunda Named to United Soccer Coaches All-New England Second Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Castleton men's soccer freshman Seraphin Iradukunda has added another accolade to his impressive rookie season, as earlier this week he was named to the 2017 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III All-New England Region Second Team.

Iradukunda, who was named North Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Year and landed First Team All-Conference honors, made 20 starts and led the conference in goals (14) and finished second in points (32). He paced the squad with five game-winning goals, including four in conference play, and recorded five multi-goal performances on the season.

Castleton (12-7-2, 8-0-1) posted its first unbeaten record in conference play since 2010 and reached the NCAA tournament for the fourth time in program history and the first time since 2008. Iradukunda is one of four NAC players to be recognized. To view the full list of Division III honorees, click here
