CASTLETON, Vt. - Castleton University baseball coach Ted Shipley and his staff will be offering two different baseball development programs beginning this fall and extending through the winter focused on player improvement using the most up-to-date training methods.
The first program offered will be a four-week fall pitching & hitting program. This program will be offered on Sunday evenings at Castleton University beginning on November 10 and concluding four weeks later on December 1. The weekly sessions will have two options: pitching intensive and/or hitting intensive. Each session will be 90 minutes in length and will be held for four consecutive Sundays from 5-6:30 p.m. The hitting-intensive program will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. This program is for students ages 9-18 and is limited to 24 participants.
The second program will be the popular Sunday Evening Winter Baseball Program that will begin on Sunday, January 12, 2020, and run for eight consecutive Sundays concluding on March 1. The Sunday Evening Winter Baseball Program will also be held at Castleton University from 6-7:30 p.m. for those that are 9-18 years of age. This program will encompass all aspects of the game and be centered on skill development and skill improvement.
