CASTLETON, Vt. - Castleton University Head Baseball Coach Ted Shipley has announced the program will be offering two separate baseball tune-up camps in March.
The first tune-up camp will take place on Sunday, March 4, from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m., and will focus on the core baseball fundamentals (throwing, catching, fielding, hitting, and base running). The second camp will be held on Sunday, March 25 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., and will be similar to the first but more hitting intensive.
Both camps are fundamentally designed and focused on preparing young players safely for their upcoming baseball season. The camp is for boys and girls ages 7-13, and the cost is $25 for the March 4th camp and $30 for the March 25th camp, with all proceeds going to the Castleton University baseball team's southern trip. All campers will receive a Castleton Baseball T-shirt.

Castleton will kick off its 2018 season on Saturday, Feb. 17, against Pomona-Pitzer in California.
