Castleton Baseball Announces Upcoming Camps and Clinics

CASTLETON, Vt. – Castleton University Head Baseball Coach Ted Shipley is pleased to announce the 2017 baseball camps to be offered at Castleton this summer. Shipley will be offering four separate baseball camps for boys and girls ages 7-18.

The first camp will be the Spartan pitching and hitting clinic on May 14. This one-day camp will focus specifically on pitching and hitting. The pitching portion of the camp will be from 9:30 – 11:00am. The hitting camp will be from 11:30am – 1:00pm. This camp is for boys and girls ages 7-17 only.

The second camp is the Baseball "Day" Camp June 21 – 23. This camp has been shortened to three afternoons of baseball instruction (because of make-up school days) with a main focus on hitting. This program is for boys and girls ages 7-15 only.

The third camp is the highly recognized Spartan Baseball "Game" Camp June 26 – June 29. In addition to baseball game play, this camp includes lunch and swimming and is for boys and girls ages 7-13 only.

The fourth and final camp of the summer is the advanced overnight baseball camp for boys ages 10 – 18. This camp will be held at the college August 6 – August 10.
